Content Camp

Content Camp is a collaborative assessment authoring project, developed by Ohio State in partnership with the Unizin Consortium, the Big Ten Academic Alliance (BTAA) and Pennsylvania State University.

High-quality open textbooks are increasingly available, yet professors still struggle to make the switch. This reluctance is driven, in part, by dependence on support materials like test banks. This project suggests a novel approach to this problem by recruiting faculty from across our institutions to collaboratively author a high quality, shareable solution to remove this barrier.

In addition to Content Camp events, Ohio State has partnered with Penn State to develop an web-based tool to facilitate the question-authoring process. Ultimately, the tool will be available at no cost to instructors across the country who are looking for high-quality, textbook-agnostic test questions to use in their courses.
